Building Your Inventory
There are two ways to add products to your BigtinkCore system:
Method 1: Manual Entry
Navigate to Inventory > Products > Add New. Fill in the following:
- Product Name: e.g., "Coca Cola 50cl"
- SKU/Barcode: Scan the product barcode or generate a custom SKU.
- Cost Price: What you paid for the item.
- Selling Price: What the customer pays.
- Tax Category: Select the applicable VAT rate.
Method 2: Bulk Import (CSV)
If you have hundreds of items, go to Inventory > Import. Download our CSV template, fill it with your data, and upload it back. The system will validate and import everything at once.
Tip: You can add product images to make it easier for cashiers to identify items on the POS screen.
